WIMOVE
This is a cooperation project funded by the Center for Industrial Technological Development (CDTI). With this financial support, this R&D project brings together five leading Galician companies in the telecommunications sector and a technology center in order to develop equipment and solutions for mobile wireless networks 4G broadband on the basis of the two more important technologies: WiMAX and LTE.
Although each technology has a different marketing approach in terms of their use depending on their orientation to the market for large mobile operators or niche markets, its technical characteristics are very similar allowing the development of systems and equipment with several common elements. In this context, WiMove work in the development of professional measurement equipment for the deployment of 4G networks, IP routing equipment for wireless networks, personal area network devices to provide capillarity for 4G networks, and provision processes for management and operation of 4G networks (Optare Solutions). The project has a budget of nearly three million Euros and will be developed within 36 months.
Coordinated by Arteixo Telecom, the WiMove consortium brings together major telecommunications companies in Galicia over the production chain. This consortium includes two manufacturers: Arteixo Telecom and Gsertel (Televés Group), a communications solutions and niche applications integrator: Level Telecom, a network platforms provider for operators: Optare Solutions, and the operator: R. Gradiant joins them as the reference research center.

INTREXNG
This is an R&D project funded by the DX I+D+i that is part of the Consellería de Industria of the Xunta de Galicia through its grants line to support R&D in the SME ICT sector (IN830K) in 2010.
The objective of this project is to research a platform to offer as a service-oriented the management process to use external resources by telecommunications operators. In this project it will be needed to work on simplifying the access to these resources, the homogenization of the interfaces offered to the operators and the standardization of data structures and communication interfaces between different elements of the system.
