- CEO
As company founder and CEO, Luis Alves managed Optare Solutions growth with the collaboration of his team, from a small local IT company to a specialized OSS consulting firm that is becoming a reference in fulfillment for telcos in Europe. Before his current position he worked in other IT business projects as Project Manager and Sales Director during the 90’s. These previous experiences and his knowledge of IT business and Software Engineering give him a valuable point of view as company’s CEO.
- CTO
Ricardo Riguera has been involved in communications projects for a decade and he's now working in the role of Optare Solutions Chief Technology Officer. As the CTO his main work is to contribute to Optare's business with the technology component of OSS and communications. He leads the selection of new technologies and partners, as well as the technical enablement of the teams working in projects and for assuring the quality of the work and deliverables. Before being the CTO, Ricardo founded Optare and served as an OSS Consultant. Apart from Optare he was involved in other start up ventures. Ricardo holds an MS on Telecommunications Engineering by the University of Vigo (Spain).
- COO
As COO his aim is to obtain the best results from his production team ensuring key aspects such as client orientation and service quality. His department closely collaborates with the technical team implementing methodologies, production and management standards such as ISO9000 or ISO15504. Before taking on the responsability of COO, he led the implementation of an efficient management model as Director Project Management increasing the productivity level by three times. Nacho holds an MS in Industrial Engineering by the University of Vigo (Spain) and has formed part of the OSS team of one of the major spanish carriers.
- Director OSS Technologies
After 5 years experience in IT consulting companies, having worked in public administration and telecommunications, Xose-Ramon joins Optare in 2002 as an Analyst, leading Optare's firsts projects in the fulfillment area, which led to our specialization in this field. Currently, as Director OSS Technologies, he provides his insight and knowledge of the NGOSS standards to train our consultants and offer our clients the best advice in the OSS area to improve their business processes. Xose-Ramon holds an MS in Telecommunications Engineering by the University of Vigo (Spain).
Francisco Vazquez - Director Project Management
Francisco joined Optare in 2004 to form an active part in the change process of the management of the company that resulted in our specialization as a consulting firm for telecommunications. Since the incorporation of Nacho Garmilla, he collaborated with him in the implementation of the improvement processes and in 2008 took over as Director Project Management. Francisco coordinates the team of project managers and promotes quality and client orientation values not forgetting the productivity objectives he achieves by an efficient managemet of all the projects teams. Francisco holds an MS in Telecommunications Engineering by the University of Vigo (Spain).
